Thanks fellas. I'm sure my little dude will be fine. It's just scary to see blood on your sheets and you aren't the one bleeding. He's old now so his teeth are probably going and they need to be deep cleaned and removed.

They are going to give him antibiotics and draw blood for presurgical screening. They'll let me know if everything is fine on Monday so I can set up a dentist appointment and have him fully checked out.

Fever is down. He's on antibiotics and I didn't see any blood yesterday or this morning. I get test results today to see if they can put him under for dentist appointment and then I need to speak with the doc about the tumor thing. He says that if it hasn't grown in a year that it's probably not cancerous but they don't know for sure unless they remove it and test it. But his age is now a factor for any type of surgery.

So, yeah, be on the look out for a sale soon because dentist and this is going to cost me $$$$.

Put SD card back in camera, the card is a dodgy fold in half USB jobby so when it was a bit stiff I thought nothing of it and pushed harder and it went in with a crunch, and now "memory card error" is all I get.  Just before my first truly photograph-worthy board arrives too

I don't know the full story, but it looks like your dog may be getting teeth pulled? Don't worry about food. Dogs (and cats) don't really chew their food anyways. They swallow it whole, for the most part. Watch your dog eat next chance you get and you'll see what I mean.

Me too. But it looks like I'll be fine. Just got a call saying his blood work is normal and that he can get his cleaning. 200 dorrah for a deep clean and 15 dorrah for each tooth removed. Not too bad. Unless they remove them all OnO.

I don't know the full story, but it looks like your dog may be getting teeth pulled? Don't worry about food. Dogs (and cats) don't really chew their food anyways. They swallow it whole, for the most part. Watch your dog eat next chance you get and you'll see what I mean.

Might depend on the dog and cat.  My friend pet-sat a Golden Retriever that would "eat" a whole bowl of food in an insane amount of time, I think the fastest he clocked her at was 11 seconds.  She certainly didn't chew anything, but my cat used to chomp like every bite of food she took and it ended up kind of annoying because she would do it really loud, but cats are *******s so it's to be expected.
