There were nachos at the buffet I just ate at. I really wanted to eat them, but alas, I did not.

Nachos are one of my all time most favorite foods.

In America do you have those nachos with cheese that tastes like sweaty socks at the cinema?
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Those little cups of nacho cheese aren't nearly as good as the big cans.

I really like nachos. Only if it's from a Mexican restaurant though. From the supermarket they kind of suck. Same story with sushi from Publix compared to Thai House II.

Dorito's?

Hit up AMPM, grab bag of Dorito's, open, pump nacho cheese in, pay, enjoy heaven.

True, I've found sams club is a nacho's makers paradise, get the box of chips and a can of nacho cheese and a jug of nachos!!

At the state fair we have around here they take fritos' bags upon one end put in 'taco' meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, black olives, onions, sour cream, etc, etc and sell them as taco salad  ;D

I was just wondering what to fix the kids for dinner.

We make them ourselves from fresh ingredients, and everybody likes different stuff.

Except me, I am an "everything" kind of guy.

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Canned nacho cheese? Ugh... I never did like that stuff (I mean, it's ok, but I try to avoid it).

I make my nachos with REAL shredded cheese melted over the tops of the tortilla chips, with a container of homemade salsa to dip them in.

Mmmm...

That is what passes for nachos around our house. Quick, easy, and cheap. Not unhealthy, really.

Everybody can choose his own ingredients. Miniature tostados is probably more accurate.
