Battlefield causes ping spike....
« on: Thu, 07 November 2013, 21:05:11 »
Hi guys I was playing Battlefield 4 thinking that the ping spike problem I got in Battlefield 4 would go away.... Well it didn't. My whole network will slow down to a stutter and then reach 500ping... Any ideas?

disable precision timer on mobo, lowers dpc latency
use timer-resolution to force .5ms for lower dpc latency

also if you got an intel nic... check for updated drivers.. and DO NOT install their management software.

Also disable some of the features of the NIC that you're not using.. the often cause problems for routers.
