I got an email from Paypal after my last "It's in the mail..." contribution.
I was not happy with the options:
1- Link a bank account to your Paypal account
2- Apply for a Paypal credit card
So I called them
Me:
Hello, just got an email saying I've hit my sending limit and you are telling me I have to link a bank account or apply for a Payal CC to lift it.
I'm not happy with these options. Do you have other options?
1st guy: Sure you have to link to a bank account or apply for a Paypal CC to lift it.
Me: Did you ear what I just said?
(Back and forth waste of time)
1st guy: let me transfer you to a service representative
(cut and paste back and forth waste of time)
2nd guy: let me transfer you to an account manager
3rd guy:
(cut and paste back and forth making progress)
3nd guy: we value our customers, I just lift the limit. Happy keyboard shopping.
Me: Euh... Really?
3rd guy: yup, anything else for you today?
Me: nope, thank you very very much.
I Googled the issue before calling them. I found horror stories all over the place. I didn't expect an happy ending like that. I just had to be very patient and polite.
