My gut reaction to the new bro cap requirement, as a new GH member, was visceral grumpiness because of how badly I want a Lycan, especially after seeing the white version
Not to mention they remind me of my German Shepherd (see profile pic). However, once I was able to repress my lust for those keycaps, I can say I am fully supportive of the requirement even as someone who currently does not qualify for any giveaways/sales. I think that this will be beneficial for GH because it provides an incentive for new people like me to actively participate in the forum. I myself have a tendency to lurk rather than post anything, but I already feel the bro cap requirement giving me the incentive and the push to comment where I normally wouldn't. At least for me, as a new member of a forum, there is a strong inclination to not comment on something out of fear of seeming stupid, for thinking others don't care about your opinion since your new, etc. and this requirement kind of fights against that, which I think is a good thing.
