LED desk back lighting

So this evening i got dragged along to Home Depot (wife wanted at fake christmas tree) anyways. So i was off, not lookin at trees and came accross some RGB(W) peel and stick LED lighting. I have seen other people use light to accentuate the battlestations. So I figured i would post at picture and see if anyone else did anything similar to the BS.

I assure, the shelf was not easy to come by, and is lag bolted to the wall, and Isnt going anywhere. I appreciate your concern tho  :thumb:

I'd also recommend IKEA Dioder--half the price for 4 LED strips.  I have 3 of those in various locations.

totally, but i needed 120 inches, and those 4 would totally make more of a mess, wiring wise

actually, i have LED blue christmas lights, and they didnt give the effect i wanted, they were "spotty" and not as bright

well there's more work involved in lining them up of course.... brightness.. mmm.. u just need M0re...

But consider to replace the trasformer unit (super cheap POS), one (out of my 3) melted O.o

Good quality one with same specs...
I'm from Europe tho (230V @ 50Hz)

You put your PC on a damn shelf! Thats brilliant! How come I didnt think of that? Ive been looking for a way to get my damn tower off my desk/floor.
