The difference is that most people on Reddit don't want Clacks, they want something that looks like a Clack. Therefore they do not care about where it comes from or who created it as long as they can get something cool looking for a cheaper price.
I am pretty neutral towards this whole situation, just wanted to share how I see the things, then I'm out again.

Undermining the artist and other collectors by claiming K3 is the real deal with a price tag similar to CF(original retail) is ignorant.
As an artwork admirer, I understand the desire for a replica. For those who cant afford a Van Gogh(or any other artist) painting there are poster reprints that sells for a few bucks. If K3 can acknowledge his/her **** are fake and sell them dirt cheap, while giving full credit to CF, this will give some leeway in this discussion but to not do so is just disrespectful.
Hopefully, this will just give more publicity for CF.
