Been there, done that. I have dozens of Rapidographs that have to be cleaned regularly when you are using them.

My kitchen sink has a disposal that my hand will not fit in, but my kids' will, so I get them to fish out small parts.
"We are on the precipice of signing an agreement to advance talks with Iran that preserves the good parts of former President Barack Obama’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) while amplifying its flaws.
Mr. Obama came to an agreement that did not involve America’s most precious treasure, the lives and limbs of our soldiers.  The 1.7 billion dollars of frozen Iranian assets released by Obama pales in comparison to the 300 billion being floated as a rebuilding fund.
So far, speculation that Iran will be free in the future to continue its nuclear program is the opposite of Trump’s stated goal for the war and in direct opposition to what Mr. Obama negotiated.

LOL... why have kids... if you can't put them into dangerous situations in your place...

my biggest fear is dropping anything in the sink. i always put something on top of it, or use that little thing that clogs it.

that and accident(why this would be an accident i dont even know) putting my hand in the garbage disposal and turning it on.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

Am I the only one who unplugs the disposal before putting hands or fingers into it?

Wonder if anyone has ever accidentally dropped an expensive keycap down the sink.

My dad jokes with me. You're younger go do this for me. Then the whole family has this attitude "you see, this is why we have kids". Fetch beer from cooler go on the roof to tighten the satellite. Shove your hand in dark, slimy places.

Fountain pen tips are not made of steel? In that case you could try a magnet.

Magnet doesn't work on the tip, usually it's stainless steel (chrome alloy)
