The latest research concludes the in the future, Pretty much everyone will be running electric velomobiles.

Similar weight class to bicycles/dirt bikes.  With the Aero pods you can human power it up to 30-40mph, as most energy is lost in aerodynamics of pushing a human body.

Tp4 did look at some photos just now, she's kind of mid, but admittedly perhaps the photos chosen on the website were not her best, merely a big stash.
