Cheap enough to play with.
If you have the cash, do it.
The thing I'm most conflicted about is because I have 2 concepts within me that are Fighting..
Concept 1, Gotta-catch'm-all....
Concept 2, Price to performance..
The numbers work out to..
6855 cpu points/ $70 (pentium Anniversary 4.8ghz OC)
10936 cpu points/ $170 (4670k 4.8ghz OC)
Now if you add in the cost of a SOLID, Overclocking motherboard + approx $100.. the ratio no longer favors the Anniversary Edition..

so you're looking at
6855/$170.... Pentium... 40 points per dollar
10937/$270.... 4670k... 40 points per dollar
So basically... Intel set the price exactly such that you get about the same performance/ dollar....
................................
There's really no point in buying a slower chip... if you get the SAME performance per dollar on a Higher end chip... 'within affordability of-course'...
But.. freakin' it says Anniversary on the Damn box.. and Concept 1 makes me go I WANT IT.........!!!!!!!!!
