That would be a waste of perfectly good alcohol, wouldn't it?
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

yes. a lot. mostly beer and whisky.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. I drink coffee because I like the taste. Truthfully, it does nothing to wake me up and in fact has the opposite reaction from time to time.

I don't drink coffee after 5pm, unless I'm working late. But up and until 5pm it is all fair game. Sleepy-time clocks in at about 11pm.

Coffee and water. I try to focus on water, but damn coffee is good. Sometime tea, but more rarely. I try to avoid hot chocolate, but since it's free I have been unable to resist on a few occasions. But I have been careful for 2 weeks and avoided the temptation of the hot chocolate!

I drink coffee only between 10 A.M until 2 P.M.

Any coffee past that point is making my sleep difficult - I clock in at 9:30 P.M.! I need to get ready by 6:00 A.M. to commute :-\

Back in my college days I did some projects / assignments while intoxicated. If you don't get wasted the it actually makes you relax and more open to ideas  / suggestions. That was quite an experience!

I rarely partake in alcohol, but my previous job had copious amounts of beer (and higher ABV stuff) available on Fridays and sometimes other days depending on the mood. Last I checked there was a massive kegbot unit there now with three kegs on tap :O

A fair amount of startup(ish) companies are similar in this regard.

Look, first of all, if you're not drinking single malt scotch, you're drinking crap.

Secondly, as long as it's before noon, Manhattans are always appropriate.

After lunch, for a little zing, I would say Vodka Stingers are a nice treat.  Ofc, Drambuie Stingers are great any time you feel sexy.

Lastly, if you're a classy dude like me, you always greet the day with a bottle of vintage champagne.  It lends a sparkle to the day.

drink enough of anything.. eventually, you'll just like it out of familiarity and association..

-- I didn't like beer at the start.. I didn't like the stupid coolaid w/everclear either..

Eventually after all the parties at college and all the nights out...  I started to associate the taste of liquor with women undressing..

So.. one thing lead to another... and there was a time when I actually fully committed to the belief that the bitter-piss that is beer was good-eats...

No booze at my job.  It doesn't bode well to setting 20,000 pound parts while intoxicated.  For me its just a few mountain dews throughout the day.  And none of that diet crap.  If I am going to poison myself with what I drink, I would rather be able to digest some of the stuff in it instead of none.  Besides I can't stand the taste of the artificial super sweeteners, on top of the studies showing a link between them and many health issues.  I would rather have plain sugar.

I get up at 6ish in the morning (whenever the baby gets up) and start with a pot of coffee (paired with Peppermint creamer -so good!).  Off to work at 2pm and depending on how tired I am I will either do one more cup of coffee or a sugar free energy drink.  The rest of the day is water until I get home at 12am.  Hopefully to sleep by 12:30ish.

I just let other people take the incriminating photos and copy them off their user account when they're not looking.

Then you can blackmail two people.

I used to get drunk at work almost daily (bartender).  Was blacking out too much by the end of my shift ,so was forced to stop.  At first I found it annoying, but I'm sure my liver thanks me for lowering my intake of whiskey.
