This Venn diagram contains literally only one piece of information, which is much better expressed as a simple sentence: “Anyone who claims to have something that is good, fast, and cheap is dreaming.” (I think this statement happens to be wrong, but let’s leave that aside.) Everything else is entirely tautological. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more useless diagram.

It made me laugh, and that's enough for me, rather than getting too philosophical.

buy a multicooker, prepare main dish there, season with fresh vegetables.

can safely change "multicooker" to "oven".
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

A multicooker looks like a crock pot on steroids.  I forgot about crockpots.  We lost ours when one of the roommates left.  Those are great.

a multicooker can prepare a dish fast though.

Today was day 1 of this: http://diy.soylent.me/recipes/stephen-fuel

I'm not starving - any more than I was on Medifast.  I only have a 7 day supply so we'll see how it goes.  I might throw in some PB2.

So far it's tasting like a brown rice smoothie.

Oh god.  Needs sugar.

day 1: 275.2
day 2: 272.2
day 3: 268.4

So far hunger is non existent and thirst is way up.

Depending on other health conditions a person may have rapid weight loss can be very harmful.

I conclude Sunday night when I run out of mix.  Then I will order by own ingredients/supplies the Friday after Christmas to make a months worth.

I'm also going to tinker with replacing the coconut oil a few days with ground flax seeds.

Sure it's all water weight now - I'll be posting naked shots of my belly at the beginning of the month and then end of each month.

A couple years ago I survived on Medifast for 6 months consuming 1,000 cals a day.  The only reason why I got off of it was due to cavities I was developing.  I later found out it was likely caused from the bars/shakes being rich in maltodextrin.

MRE's arrived yesterday.  It's like an adventure in food.  More accurately, food-imitation products.
