is Nongshim spicy seafood ramen the best instant ramen?
and I'm out of gochujang
I miss korean food, there's not really any you can eat in northern Sweden. but sooon, very soon, I will be in Canada again.
No, nongshim is near the "bottom tier" for instant ramen.
but it tastes so good. :| I don't eat many different instant ramens though.
what else do I need to try?
Most people (including me) would recommend Shin ramen as it's relatively easy to get, packs decent heat, and is overall a good introduction to Korean ramen
Some people (again, including me) would go further and recommend Shin Black, which is a bit more expensive and a bit harder to get, but provides a more fulfilling broth with more depth
Like Sygaldry recommends, putting cheese on top gives it a much more milky flavor (some people even throw in a splash of whole milk)
I personally prefer mozzarella (when I do add cheese) over American because I like the stretch (and I dislike American cheese)
You can also go ahead and throw in freshly chopped scallion for some greens
Edit: They also have it in instant-bowls, but I prefer cooking it in a pot
