SIGN UP FORM
LINK TO THE FORM ENTRIES

I was in IRC and the topic of playing Cards Against Humanity was brought up. I also give credit to Melvang for this idea.
I thought that maybe we could have a weekly Cards Against Humanity night.
Although be prepared to not look at GHers the same ever again...

All members who sign up will be split randomly into different groups to play in.

Custom cards will be used.

Can someone explain the rules of that game to me... I get that they are offensive cards... but how do you play/win/lose?

First, you be a horrible human. Second, you laugh at horrible jokes.

Third, and most important, you feel good about being a horrible human.

Have you ever played apples to apples?
Everyone takes several white cards with something written on them. A phrase, person, item, etc.
One person takes a black card with a phrase written on it that has to be answered/completed.
And then each other player chooses a white card (multiple in special cases) from their hand with words on it to fill in the blank(s) and submit them anonymously.

For example:
Quote
Question: What gets better with age?

Answer: Natural male enhancement.

Then the person who read the black card will pick the best response and give a point to whomever submitted it.

I believe I can make my own cards as well.
I'll check later, but I would love some GH themed cards.

Also, if this gets too large, I will use the power of RNG and stuff. I'll think about it when I have the time.

How many people should we allow in? It doesn't really get too hectic.
Although I would definitely want to Skype or Mumble while this is going on.
Voice chat would give us the best, most entertaining experience ever.

In it to win it. Using xyzzy? In my experience, about 8-10 people is where things start getting a bit too hectic.

Generally though, I tend to value 'truthiness' and unexpected answers in cards more than the obvious ones. The latter have their uses too, but I see the BBD as a precision weapon rather than a nuclear strike :D

Someone mentioned this
Although I probably will use xyzzy since it seems much more responsive.

CAH gets crazy at that point, and VoIP might not be so swell either past that.
