The 3DS Thread (where the party never stops)
« on: Sun, 05 April 2015, 17:03:07 »
Let's add each other's Friend Codes and coordinate playing games over wi-fi! I'll start the party train and update the OP with everyone's FC's.

And tell us what games you have! I'm currently playing Mario Kart 7, but I'll be picking up Majora's Mask ASAP and possible Smash if I find out we have enough people on GH to play with.

I am getting that too apparently. According to my friend that is  :))
Anyways, I have Pokemon X/Y. Have yet to play the Hoenn remake. USA region games are hard to come by in the EU. No physical store sells them.
Have to get them imported in from the states. Darn it :-X

I currently have 20+ games for the 3DS, so I won't bother listing them all  :))
Here are the games for the 3DS that I play online: Super Smash Bros. 3DS, Mario Kart 7, and Pokemon X/Alpha Sapphire.

I've pretty much switched over to playing Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart on the Wii U, but I play them on the 3DS every now and then.

Here is my friend code: 2793-0612-9486

Think I'll be hooked on it as well. Back in the days during holidays, my friends would come to my hse and we would hunt all day on our psp's.
Rathalos and Tigrex since we were too chicken to go solo on our own  :))

Not too sure myself :( I only got it for the single player games, but I did get Super Smash.

I really wanted the Majora's Mask one, but that's the only LE 3DS XL that looked really cool to me AND came with a game I know for true is good. No way I'm dropping $300 on one though.

I could buy a Turbo Express for that kinda cash. >_>

for $300 you can buy over 200 packs of hearthstone cards..

That guarantees you about 5-legendary cards..

Sure.. But as an organism.. a living one.. I have been given the singular task of pursuing vices in accord with prolonging my existence and that of my species..

Digital gaming is no longer the teacher it once was to my younger self, and so, despite the continuous pleasure it may bring to my present self, I must resist and turn attention towards other challenges that convert personal labor into the means for humanity's survival..

Does anyone actually enjoy using there 3DS?
Like the only games I like playing on it are ones that dontn use half the controls on the thing.. The l and R buttons are horrible, the d-pad is terrible and the disc thing gives about as much positive feedback as a really negative person talking about something they hate.

I love me some pokemons (the only reason I got one) but most other things just seem worse for it being on that system.

I quote enjoy mine minus the generic shape of it. My left hand never seems to know what to do and sometimes the pinky falls asleep. Mind you I was playing monster hunter without the double joy stick. On my older non-XL model I had a third party battery to extend the life and it gave the system a nice hold.

Make a 2 layer thick cardboard cutout of a PSP shape.. then tape it to the back of the DS..  That's how I played my ds back in the day..

There was no other way to get through long games for me.. hand pain..
