More fun all in one thread?

Maybe one day there will be this huge "beautiful mind" moment where we crack the cypher on his threads and we unravel the secrets of the universe.

Or it just makes less sense.

There is no cypher..

Well.. I'll attempt to go on more PG adventures this season like my posts during last august summer-in-China.. The bear one, and the cake one..

But it's harder to do PG stuff as an adults, because i'm surrounded by Other adults who are not so noble..

What if, we just gave TP one entire thread that was thousands of pages long for his rambling? Like the church of Halverson.

Then we don't have to keep seeing all these threads all over the place.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Tp4 off topic stickie?
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

tp thread is tp thread
Sometimes it's like he accidentally makes a thread instead of a google search.

No one makes you click on threads started by tp4. Just stay out of his threads if it bothers you. Problem solved.

What if, we just gave TP one entire thread that was thousands of pages long for his rambling? Like the church of Halverson.

Then we don't have to keep seeing all these threads all over the place.

What if, we actually combined every thread like 'Hi, i'm new would i like this switch, I have some basic questions or suggest me a board" into this one giant mega thread that was a thousand pages long.
Then we wouldn't have to keep seeing all these threads all over the place.

but seriously this speaks to a broader issue of tolerance here. If you don't like his threads then stay out of them.
You also do realize that almost every other off topic thread is whacky and has it's own character?
Learn to tolerate this.

Don't go down this road and effectively segregate a user because some vocal people keep complaining and want to impose their ideals. If you merge all of TP's post then also consider what you're doing for a moment - you're censuring a user just solely because other people complained.
If we do decide to megathread teepee, then apply the same standards to the other sections, clean them up a little, make sure one new guy doesn't create four threads with simple questions, get more quality content flowing and weed out the trashy posts.

He could just start a thread
"TP life thread"
It would become a cluster of politics, ramen, and then the almighty ergodox.

A good argument for merging is that there are already separate threads for what's bothering you, what you did today, what you wear, Windows, what makes you happy, what you drink, random pictures, musical taste, what you eat, your current mood, self portraits, and probably lots more depending on what you want to talk about.

Nearly all of TP4's separate threads would fit into one of those existing threads.

Do we really need people to create new threads all the time when a single post in an existing thread will suffice?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

And every single one of his thread somehow manage to have a title that is just a click-bait.
Imo that's fine since the whole point of off-topic is too gather ''''flood''''', but a super tp4 thread just like the windows guy had, or similar to the church would limit that click-bait.

It's ok to segregate TP; just like we segregate the mental patients from the normal folks... you don't work between a paranoid schizo, a psychopathic liar, a bloodthirsty murderer and...

Wait a moment, that sounded like the White House for most of the last decade...
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.
