Okay so maybe this guy isn't ugly just very normal looking.

I was about to post about that one. The character (to the right) became a vampire because he thought it would make him more attractive, but he learned that it is the opposite: the age and physique when you become a vampire is the state that you will remain in.

In some other vampire stories, the attractive vampires are used to snare victims that are shared by the group.
