Picture loading issues?

Im having an issue that only affects this forum. Whenever I open a picture heavy page it always crashes and it will give me an Imgur error message or a Chrome error message. This happens on pc and mobile, it only happens on Geekhack.

Anybody else having this issue?

I have this problem when I'm using Chrome on my mobile. I usually use Firefox on my laptop and don't have any trouble there.

I dislike Firefox, I always had loading issues with it (through 4 different computers).

Both .. lol

SSD for OS and programs

SSHD for storage

and my phone is a Note 3

The issue is across devices, its not just on the pc or just the phone .. it's on both

I get that at work, but I put it down to a crappy work internet connection.

Seems to work much better at home.

maybe you got some weird antivirus..  or malware,  or bad dns...


I run Firefox on my OLD and slow x120e,   and everything works fine..


Probably a software issue..  but since it affects your mobile device, i'm thinking it's either ur ISP or your router..

Of course it could also be that you're on some sort of NSA watch list, and therefore they're screenin' ur stuff..

Been a bad.. boy..?

Actually yeah, it doesn't work when I run Windows.

Works fine on Mac.

if you have adblock on, disable it for geekhack.org

adblock on chrome completely trashes firefox when an image heavy page has to render.  i'm pretty sure it's doing the exact same thing in chrome.
