In the past 6 months you have ignored nearly all my PMs, or sidestepped them, until I started posting publicly.
I have a threepronged claim against you. Summed up as: $550; goods; and an additional $400.
I know you have some objection towards two of my points: the misused $400 donations and the only-partially-done proxying of goods. But there is a third prong, and you have never responded to my queries on the $550.
Now let me ask you again, Dorkvader. What about the $550 you owe me? Let me remind you, it is already a much reduced figure from over $1k even earlier. Partly to make repayment affordable for you, I moved $200 from the debt ledger to the donations ledger. So an original conditional donation of $200 became $400, and the cash debt was reduced. Then I let you tweak the sum down further, to arrive at $800. That was what you proposed months ago.
Knowing that $800 is still a large sum and that your money management skills are poor, I deliberately did not press the point for months. I wanted to give you time to sell stuff, get paychecks, whatever works to get the funds to pay me. As I made it clear in my PM after you proposed the $800 figure, I expect you to act like an honest and honorable man. So I expect you to act automatically and not because I have to keep pestering you.
But of the $800 you have only paid $250 and have evaded all questions, requests, and queries on this much-reduced debt arrears of $550 ever since. That has been the elephant in the room all along.
If you think you are going to get away with it, my patience has ended. That’s why this post is being made publicly, after again you refused to respond to my demand of $550 in my last PM.
The next step in my escalation will be to contact your parents and employer. Do you still want to tax my patience?
I’m not going to waste time in hot air quarrels with you in public. I did not want to start a storm on Geekhack. I have treated you with far more respect than you have ever earned. Because posting this on Geekhack will draw all kinds of unnecessary and often inflammatory comments from other people, I will only post here once. I will make no follow up post, and I will lock this thread after enough people have read it.
If I am not made good on my $550 by the end of this month (after your next paycheck), take it for granted that I will contact your parents and employer. That may not get my money back, but it will definitely put your character in the spotlight. And considering your history of evading responsibility, you will lose whatever little credibility remaining.
