I'm pretty sure eye twitching is usually caused by lack of slack of sleep, get a good rest and stay off the caffeine. :thumb:

Edit: Oops forgot a the word "sleep" too much going on in brain I keep forgetting words now.

Try using a face towel which is damp with warm water to wipe over your eyelids. What does this fo you ask? I dont know i just remember i had eye issues as a kid and this was one of the things that seemed to work.

you might have a pinched nerve?  try do some gentle neck stretching exercises, and make sure to sit properly when sitting at the computer.  don't use a laptop since you end up craning your neck for extended periods of time.

I think it's a sign of fatigue
the nerve is being too tense due to intense usage, get cold damp cloth, lay back, close your eyes and put it on them lets say for like 20 min

that or you get some sort of deadly virus :D :D (joking)

I have that issue pretty much all the time, but that's because i have Nystagmus. It's a lot worse when i dont get a lot of sleep or i'm stressed/anxious though.

It probably is just stress and getting too little sleep.  I guess 5 hours a night doesn't cut it anymore, especially when things are crazy at work.

5 hours a night is definitely not enough. Although to be honest you should really see a doctor or medical professional about your eye problem - it is risky to rely on the advice you are given on the Internet about a health or medical problem.

drink more water? take more breaks from pc screen/bright lights?

my eye would occasionally twitch but it never found a "solution" - i would just drink water, and take more stretch breaks while at work.

I've always been told that it's due to either lack of sleep, stress, or too much caffeine. There really isn't no way to stop it, some pretty a warm damp cloth over your eye to help soothe it.

I want to echo what Steezus said and that it's most likely a sign of sleep deprivation!

Get some good sleep!

I got enough sleep this weekend (or so I thought), but it's still twitching.  I'm going with stress since I don't really do caffeine.

It might seem odd but your diet can actually be the culprit for this. I used to have it all the time and I thought it was because I was always sleep deprived but then I realized that I was simply having too much potassium in my body. Be careful because eye twitching could also be a symptom of an underlying brain or neurological disease.

Hrrrm..  well.....  ok..   the Action potential,  the signal chain along your axons, utilizes Calcium , Potassium , and Sodium.

I have no idea if eating too much potassium would cause anomalies..   but,   in an oversimplified sense,  it's possible.
