And hoarding!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I always had this romantic fantasy of selling off all my worldly possessions, moving to Mongolia, buying a Yurt and getting a few yaks and becoming a nomadic herdsman. It would be a peaceful existence I think.

We've all had this fantasy.  Watch the documentary Locho and Yama and you might reconsider.   You'll have to adjust to heating with yak dung.  Although it certainly would be interesting for awhile.

You guys don't need to watch a documentary to figure it out..

In the midde of the night,  go outside,  and feel the cold,  it's like that ALLL THE FREAKING TIME.. for MONTHS....

Try imagining doing the most basic tasks in that environment.. you'd quickly see that life would be total misery..

That's completely different..

The canadian guy has a house behind him, where he will surely return to , and be warm..

In Mongolia, there's no such option. .it's just cold ALL the time..
So maybe this one's better, lol

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
