Hi,

I just placed an order for a generic board with Gateron black switches from china;
However I would like to make sure the switches are indeed Gateron's originals.
There is a at least one store that I know of that sells only tops of Gateron switches (https://zealpc.net/products/gateron) - which can imply companies may place Gateron tops on other types of switches.
Do you think Gateron switches are often counterfeited?
How can I be sure they are genuine?

Looking at the price you can get Gateron switches at I don't think it would even remotely be worth it to use other switches and put Gateron tops on them.

I've never heard of fake Gaterons before, I'm pretty sure you're safe.
