Day 7: some work to be done for a customer in the middle of the night.....checks karma .... 0 ....better than something negative but then again the thing begins to feel less and less important. updates his Buy/Sell thread...knows nobody will buy and nobody will sell ... tries to fill some time by browsing some interesting threads .... artisans .... artisans ..... oh some interesting talk about new Cherry switches, oh almost impossible to get .... artisans.... have to get another hobby this one is coming to an end soon.... maybe I should go back to model trains... back to work

Still Day 7: woke up this morning only to see Trump won ... ok.... and I was shocked about all that downvoting on reddit ....

If any of the US guys needs immigration help to Romania PM me, we welcome anyone, we speak English have good food etc etc .... and with 70.000$ you can buy an apartment in a big city... The IT industry is strong over here so plenty of jobs.

I'm European, lived under a totalitarian regime big part of my life, I'm not the type to swallow some rules and say "Thank You Boss" if something doesn't feel right.

Depends on what you do, a decent paid IT job is around 25.000-30.000 a year. Some jobs are even better paid and most other jobs are worst. But if you draw the line, with a decent education you can make a living here.
I like it here, been abroad and had a job well paid but still I made the decision to go back home, what I make here is enough to make me happy: I pay the bills, have my own house (100 year old red stone one with a lot of issues, but I love it), I afford to take nice vacations, go eat something good, have 0 bank loans. Well I don't afford a 500$ or even a 200$ Clack, but I'm happy with my life and I wouldn't change it in any way. Getting screwed in a GB upsets me, because that for me is not pocket change....also paying a user for stuff and then goes MIA makes a hole in my hobby budget....

I was not talking about basic things like deodorant, I'm talking about subtle stuff like a nice perfume that makes your head turn around... While living in Germany I was surprised that few women used to wear perfume, when I smelled perfume in 99.999999% of the cases it wasn't a German female .... I know, in the modern world a female should not do things to please the other gender or same gender... but where I come from it's still not like that ...

Mechanical Keyboard is a passing fad' I think..

It has every hallmark of being one..

Its complexity is predominantly aesthetic..

It has no true advantage performance wise for 99% of users, since 99% of those users are just casual computer users..

The only way to enforce this is by removing degrees of anonymity..
