Good luck dude. We did Miami to Atlanta in one go, took us 14 hours.

Hope you have a comfortable car to do it in. Good luck and drive safe :)
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Finding a good podcast is crucial when doing long distance drives. For some reason listening to people talk (assuming you don't have anyone in the car to actually talk TO) passes the time much quicker than music does. For me at least. Welcome to Nightvale is my favorite. It's basically this surrealist talk show structured as a daily news broadcast for this small town in the dessert where weird **** is always happening. There's also one called Wolf 359 that's more of a continuing story of a few people on a long term space mission slowly descending into madness. Sometimes i'll look for reasons to take long trips just to listen to those shows.

Cheers, luckily I am no stranger to long drives but that is usually with a few people/cars. Car is pretty comfortable actually even though its pushing 10 years old.

Haha you got the goods there. I've already downloaded a bunch of Art Bell's radio recordings, I don't know what it is about his old shows but it is some of the most entertaining call in radio I have ever heard.

I need to stop writing haha. It looks like a written nervous twitch.

Also does anyone else have road trains in their country? Whos idea was it to take a truck and add like three more trailers to it, then let it out of the depot.

My life flashes before my eyes everytime one drives past me. Then you get stuck behind them up a hill and your life flshes before your eyes as it barely makes it up the hill and you think... one gear ****up... just one from that guy and i am dead.

you sellin that Sparco steerin wheel?

What's interesting about this movie is..

They try to impart that there are all these pretty japanese girls in the car-meet-up scenes.

But if you pause the bluray..

There's actually maybe only 6 actually pretty girls,  the rest are ugly, but they smartly hid this fact by using Fast camera pans..

hahahahahahaha

I guess this probably reduces the budget because hiring prettier girls for all the scenes would cost way too much money.. hahahahahaha

Not with that attitude you can't homie.

In all seriousness though, long ass drives suck. Back in my freshman year my dad and I picked up my first car and promptly blew the transmission a few hours later.

I find that music helps me keep my sanity though. That and someone to talk to.

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Currently in school with no headphones. Or else I would take a listen.
But I'm sure with enough silence I'd start thinking about some things. Or fill in the silence by talking to myself.
