If your type of anger is Habitual, then you need to begin developing a counter-ritual..
--Do something mild to trigger your anger
--- Take a step back, slow down, analyze that feeling in the moment,
---- Begin THINKING-ABOUT, at this moment, TO THINK ABOUT, a solution to the trigger, -Rather- than engage in any manifestation of the emotion which is unproductive, such as physical violence.
----- Replay these steps in your mind, and whenever you've been triggered, Remember to think about the solution rather than give in to a hissy-fit.
If your type of anger is a physiological deficit, a short chain somewhere in your brain, then the only hope is medication. See if you can get an FMRI, or some sort of brain scan done.. Don't know if you got insurance that covers this..
Whatever you do , DO NOT go to a general psychiatrist. The majority of those are just pill-pushers, and it's nearly impossible to determine the good doctor from bad..
