FINALLY, my Logitech G15 2nd gen died after nearly 10 years of good services. I'm currently browsing reviews and reading about mechs and switches, and I've learned a lot of things about mechanical keyboards and ready to make the jump.
Here is the specs I'm looking for :
- Ideally brown switches, blue would be okay too;
- RGB, per key illumination;
- Ideally software to configure the colors by game launched;
- Sub 100$ price (I'm in Canada, so I'm looking for sub $75 USD).
Everything else is not really important.
I was first looking at major brands (Logitech, Corsair, Razer, etc) and found nothing under $75 with per key RGB illumination with mechanical switches. After reading a lot of reviews, I found 2 keyboards with all the specs I need, Tesoro Lobera Spectrum and Motospeed CK108/K92.
I'm wondering if any of you have any advice for those keyboards, as I'm not able to decide which one I want more. On one side, the Tesoro has brown switches (I prefer this, quieter) and software to control RGB, but it's really ugly. On the other side, the Motospeed has blue switches (can I O-ring them for quieter typing?), no software (so keypress setting for RGB illumination and manual switching for games), but it's more pretty (and metal, the other one is plastic).
What would you do? Thanks for your advice!
I'm also open to suggestions for another mech who have all the specs I need, but I would prefer a suggestion between the two, because they are the ones who are available in Canada!
