hahaha..

make sure to get a large one, because the smaller ones you can't squeeze as easily, and the holes clog really fast..  so the larger the bag, the less you have to go in and clear out the swarf.

I'm not sure you need this for cold brew unless you're planning on making gallons at a time ?

the reason is.. you'd be using coarse grinds for cold brew..  and they settle really fast to the bottom of the jar,  so if you just pour over a regular smaller filter,  only very little grinds will actually reach the lip of the vessel you're pouring out of..

I just use my regular stainless steel mesh sieve and it's only 3inches diameter round.  I would say this small sieve is enough to filter 5 to 10 liters of cold brew before being filled up

So long as I can clean it good enough I can also use this thing for yogurt etc.

I use a paint strainer bag to make almond milk. Was $3.99 at Lowe's for 2!

Though I will say that it's hard to make almond milk for less than $3.50 (what a carton costs at the store) unless you have an exceptionally cheap source of almonds.

With cold brew, make sure you use a good grinder. Coarse grinding is the hardest for a grinder to do consistently.
I'm back.

I've got one of those Japanese hand grinders, it works good for the aeropress.

I'll just have to figure out how to change the settings on it.

Of course it doesn't do much at one time.

That will probably work

Is there a distinction between food plastic and paint strainer plastic ?
