Help finding a lower latency keyboard

I really haven't seen any keyboards with any latency numbers or testing for that matter. Does anyone know of any keyboards that you can program to adjust the debounce or even use the "Quick fire" approach described in this forum post?

I know there's a few keyboards like the Poker that you can "Program" but i'm not sure how in depth you can really go. He also talks about "selectively apply this method on demand" but i'm not sure what keyboard he was talking about.

Keyboard latency has been discussed here may times. The search feature is your friend. And keep in mind that Topre boards (HHKB, Realforce) have no debounce at all.

Yes, geekhack has talked about latency before I did search and nothing i found tells me the information i'm looking for.

Topre type heaven was a keyboard that the article i posted tested and it had significant latency. Simply saying Topre don't have debounce doesn't help if the firmware adds a bounce of latency so that doesn't really help either.

Cherry have what they claim is the fastest keyboard. And, IIRC, Logitech keyboards showed very low lag in a test someone did a couple of years ago. Anyway, you're right that reducing debounce time isn't the way to go. You were asking about adjusting debounce time, so I mentioned Topre, with zero debounce. And you can also add USB into the mix with some keyboards, like the Ducky One, having a 1000 hz polling rate.

Wooting One with optical switches should theoretically be as fast as Topre.
There have not been many actual tests of key press latency. I have seen claims that Topre Realforce would be slower than Logitech's Cherry MX-based boards.

Then there is the question if switches with higher actuation points would be faster in practice ... That is also a matter of personal preference.

using das professional 4 in MOBA (dota 2) never had any latency issue/lag.

Take an arduino,  and a model m..   wire them up.. PROGRAM to your Heart's Delight..

I'm sure I'm stating the obvious, but wired vs wireless keyboard and mouse...  I had no idea about the latency until I went back to wired and it was night and day.

You need to try the g403 or g900,  There definitely are some blips here and there I've noticed over the months, but it's very very rare, and in game tracking is very tight.

I couldn't even notice any lag until i tested using a crt monitor..

The new optical switches have no hysteresis/debounce and therefore the input lag is basically nothing. Also the Xmit hall effect keyboards have no hysteresis/debounce. I will vouch for increased gaming performance with the hall effect keyboard, even if I can't physically feel the lack of input lag, and it is not placebo. However, I don't know if a cherry red switch wouldn't do the same thing.
