Crystal ball: the return of beige?
« on: Tue, 19 March 2019, 09:14:22 »
How many keyboards, general peripherals or any computers do we see in beige these days? It doesn't enjoy the same popularity it once did, particularly for chassis and monitor designs.

Do you think we'll ever see it trend once more, like we've seen other things be adapted for modern tastes and trend decades later?

We don't know for certain,  but it's more likely Beige comes back first.

And after Beige ,  Let's do a round of Silver + Black.

Black with purple accents/lighting.
I'm still looking for keycaps with Joker purple alphas with black legends and black mods with Joker purple legends, the lack of this combo annoys me. :/

Apple I know has been on the silver/black train for about a decade with their desktop/lappy designs. Definitely fond of that pairing as well for PC (and phone) hardware.

You won't see silver or black leave laptops any time soon.

Black never goes out of style (because it rarely clashes) and silver won't leave until aluminum does and I don't see that changing anytime soon even if it is a horrible material for laptops. The only thing likely to replace aluminum in laptops anytime soon is glass, which is an even worse material for a laptop.

As for the desktop, it's been a low key thing for a while now, usually by people doing stealth builds. Showing high end parts into old boxes and things.

Beige Rules.

Clean, simple, doesn't show dirt and fingerprints, etc.
Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”
