Few days ago I couldn't launch Idle because of a few simple Python programs in my home directory. Instead of removing two files I removed ALL of the files in the python directory, including modules installed by other packages. I've since reinstalled packages so that the proper modules are deposited into the python directory but now when I launch a program I'm mentally prepared. I'm out of The Upside Down for now--Idle is functional and so is Redshift, hahaha. Good times

I hated the N64.  For some reason every game gave me terrible motion sickness.  Goldeneye was a love/hate affair as I would spend hours playing it while feeling like I was going to hurl at any moment.

No other console has done that to me.

Bring back the N64...

That turd can stay buried in the past But even then Nintendo knows you put some grip for a thumb. Sony's keeping smooth convex, symmetrical sticks (which goes against every other controller aside from the Wii retro) and horrendous bumpers from 10 years ago. Its 2017 -.-
Course 2017 means, the only 3rd party PS4 controller with offset sticks, touchpad and rumble would HAVE to be half the price of a console cuz eSports (face buttons still membrane _-_)

Happened to me to some years ago. The dissent had been building up for a long time before. Each time you thought that it was going to get better, to some kind of normalcy, management came up with some hare-brained idea that made everything go to **** ...
When people saw that others dropped off, they too started to look for work elsewhere. I liked the people who worked there, and stayed longer than I perhaps should because I did not want to let them down.

Years ago my wife worked at a magazine publishing company for about 1.5 years.

90%+ of the employees were college-educated, white-collar, yet turnover was consistently 70% per year.

Twice during her tenure, the owner of the company commissioned outside evaluations to find out the cause.
The findings? The owner/manager of the company was a complete ******* and impossible to work for.

Both times he fired the consultants and sued them to avoid paying their fees.
