Sat on a toilet seat with a crack in it. Sit down, crack opens. Start to get up, crack closes, pinching my lily white hiney. Then I can't get up. It's like a pressure sensitive bomb in the movies. Had to carefully slide my hand between me and the seat to get separation.

Now my buttcheek is bleeding.
I'm back.

I ran downstairs to get plasters then when asked if it hurt I said no...

No, find out whether the Plaster Casters are still active.
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. Well at least the timing was decent.  :) :p  And that's always a fear of mine - going under a truck with any sort of speed does not sound fun.

Car insurance claim went into subrogation instead of getting directly reimbursed by the guys insurance.  So I may not get my full $500 deductible back.  Yay, that was money bookmarked for student loans.  At least I can probably write some of it off on my taxes, though I may have to wait for subrogation to finish before doing so.

There is no part about a car wreck that doesn't suck out loud.

kijiji (canadian craigslist/classifieds) trolls.

guy does a twenty email back and forth negotiation for my ducky shine 3. finally agrees that he's willing to trade a used novatouch. ask him for photos.

sends a me a particularly inappropriate photo of a gay sex act. luckily i saw the thumbnail in blurred form, but it was super disgusting. sure, yea, i got trolled, but it's just poor taste and a waste of my time and i kinda want to beat his skinny pimply face to a pulp, but can't.

intelligent trolls with subtle humour are great. but these kinds of trolls are just a coward's coward.

The Suzuki I posted earlier has been deemed totaled, but on the bright side of things I'm getting a nice check for the loss...however now I'm bothered by insurance companies slamming me for my first ever accident. Sigh. Got my sights set on a 2012 Veloster, which I got some great financing for. The car is on "hold" so to say, probably just gonna make a big down payment out of pocket, wait for the check and use it towards payments/insurance.

EDIT: forgot to add that my dad is also "without a car" (my brother is getting his Focus). He has his sights on a used Honda Civic (I think? it's def. a Honda). He got a great premium...being under 25 and male is awful at least for insurance purposes. At least things are wrapping up on the insurance end. Got a decent quote from State Farm, so it's time to change providers...

Not to mention, waiting for everything to settle has caused me to take the rest of the week off from work. Supposed to have a performance review this week...sigh. Also for whatever reason my landlord decided I should be responsible for giving my new roommate his keys. Now that I'm out of town for the remainder of the week, this will be interesting to see how it pans out...one thing is for sure, after getting a HHKB and buying Bros from whenever I get my dibs ticket, I'll not be buying nearly as many keyboard things....stay tuned for updates  :))

I forgot to cancel my free 6 months of Amazon Prime (student) that turned over this month.  Just got docked $50.  Also had to put gas in my car so that was another $35.  I am now a tad bit short for the trip I'm going on (luckily payday is in the middle of the trip and I'll be visiting family on my birthday so hopefully I'll get some cash on top of that).  Which is the other downer:  it's not the 20th so I can't leave on my trip yet.

hiding food from yourself never works, its always in the back of your mind. the goal is just to not by the food in the first place.
I haven't bought hershey's cookies and cream chocolate in over a year with this tactic lol.

so talk to amazon CS and get your money back. their CS is great, you'll get refunded within minutes.

Going cross country from Orlando FL to LA California.  Mainly doing it to visit a bunch of my friends I've been gaming with for the past 5+ years.  Family happens to be in Houston tho so I'm gonna visit them too.

Wife somehow left her car running for 5+ hours without knowing it.  Now the damn thing won't start.  I'm guessing bad battery or starter.  Hopefully nothing worse.  Last thing I wanted to do was have to likely pay someone to fix a car -_-.  How does that even happen?
