Mom is doing a lot better. She's not out of the woods yet but it's not as bad as it was. She was fairly alert when I had to leave to come home yesterday, though obviously super tired and falling asleep a lot. She finally tolerated dialysis last night, thank god, and her renal function is according to the nurse doing a lot better today, she's peeing more, etc. Still a couple of issues that aren't improving much but the kidney stuff was the worst so it's ****ing fantastic that that was finally working.
Assuming nothing else goes wrong she might just make it. I am so ****ing relieved, but sad I couldn't stay longer for her, but at least I was able to leave a letter for them to read to her.
