It's 3am and I'm throwing up.

Today is going to be ****ty.

:( I hope you feel better. Throwing up is one of the worst things, I will fight till the last possible moment to stop myself.

That is my least favourite activity in the whole world ever and ever.

I hope demik or Demik or formerly demik or whatever he is called now feels better soon.

That doom 2 and duke nukem 3d were amongst the best games (ok.. quake included). That the way the menus popup in win98 was sexy and sleek. That everything beyond winxp ruined it. etc.

As I was crossing the street and was carrying a box with our engineering project in it, a group of pretty (very) girls was also crossing the street next to me.  They start walking in front of me almost as if they were blocking me trying to get my attention.  One of the cuter ones asked me what was in the box.  I just say it's a 'robot' and ask if they are high schoolers touring since I saw some earlier that were.  They say 'no, we're from the Morman church down the street."  Then I get a business card and am asked how my religion has helped me in college.  I leave.  FML

tfw a highschool aged girl has a business card and I don't ...

I doubt this is her number LoL

It's a phone number given out by an attractive female.

What's the bet that tp4 has already called?

And I got some good news--I only have a mild case of carpal tunnel syndrome. Bad news is I have a more moderate case of CUBITAL tunnel syndrome.

There was/is a Rally mod for Quake 1. The Quake Rally mod was/is ridiculous. Technically yes, Quake 1 is great and ridiculous at the same time :))

Like the k-cup? Or the cup they use. Because it's annoying having to take out the k cup because then it asks you if you want to dispense water and you have to click no >.>

So I apparently threw my back out again last night. Couldn't even get into work it's so bad, constant pain in my lower back and right hip like I am being stabbed over and over.

This is the second time in less than two months my back has gone out.
Times it has gone out previously in my entire lifetime = 0

Time for a new mattress? I had lower back pains as well but turned out my mattress was soo old it compressed completely, not giving me any support. Now after my new mattress and 3 days in, back pain gone completely.

See a car on the road in front of me with a "Baby on Board, Keep Back" or something sticker.  Pass the car abd glance back.  The driver has a cigarette in one hand and a cell phone in the other.

The level of hypocrisy with stuff like that always kills me.

So I apparently threw my back out again last night. Couldn't even get into work it's so bad, constant pain in my lower back and right hip like I am being stabbed over and over.

This is the second time in less than two months my back has gone out.

Actually my calcium levels are a bit high due to all those antacids. It seems to be the same disc that I injured previously (about 4in above the ass crack, on the right side) so i'm thinking this could develop into a lifelong issue if something's not done about it. And surgery seems like an extreme measure, but this feeling really sucks. This must be what 90 year olds feel like but all over their bodies.

I had such **** once, which I was crouching under a barrier on a train station.

I guess you have insurance now? Can you go visit a doctor?
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.
