It's ****ing snowing in Toronto for the fourth or fifth time in April. The weather here has been stupid this year.

We've got the same **** here in Wisconsin. I don't get it.

People who complain about the current market price of something, then cite a sale from almost 4 years ago as a reference as if market prices are static.
The whole /r/mechmarket "price citation" rule is dumb and it completely ****s up prices in general. If you're selling something rare on mechmarket you will always get some ****wit try to correct you with a citation from a years old sale because it was the only other time that an identical item was sold publicly. They don't realise that :

a) Prices change over time. Hooduh thunkit???
b) Not all sales are public, especially in regards to absurdly rare items

---

P.S. I think your pricing is relatively sane due to the constant, unchanging insanity of the market section that the item falls under.

If you're gonna ball, ball hard. I've been offered more for Spumoni and turned it down, so someone who values art will pay the entry fee.

Or they could go get a clack for original sale price from somewhere else since that seems to happen so often. If anything it's an insult to CC's work to imply it's only worth as much as he charges.

Same here in MI, but at least it's been usually melting the same day.

What is this guy's problem.

He insists on going to a specific computer that is directly behind me, instead of using the computer he was at, or even another computer in that row.

I have my laptop hooked up to that ethernet port because the ethernet port for my desk is behind the desk, so i'd have to go to the row in front of me to plug my **** in.

SO point in, NOBODY sits in the row behind me, EVER. SOOOO i always plug my cable in behind me since all i have to do is swivle my chair around to plug it in.

This guy, who was already sitting across the room, goes and sits at the desk behind me. His computer's cable is unplugged because mine is there and i didnt expect anyone to be there.
I'm using my computer (didnt notice he even moved computers) and he then walks behind me and unplugs my cable to plug his in.

WTF??? Are you that rude that you dont even say anything?

Screw you. You're just as bad as this stupid Seahawks fan that is watching Family Fued with his speakers blasting and has to go and point out what's funny about what's going on at the time as if we all cant hear it.

ALSO!! the fact i cant get a damn 360c.
I JUST WANT IT FOR THE DAMN NUMBER.  >:D :'( :'( :'(

You have gas?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

People not returning my calls and/or emails with the information I told them I needed to finish their tax returns months ago, then suddenly appearing out of nowhere with the information one evening only to call and email repeatedly the next day wondering what the status of everything is.  *****, I got your stuff but I'm not gonna cancel the rest of my appointments today so I can shoehorn the rest of your **** in and let you know you only owe $10k instead of $13k.

People are savages. As a researcher and consultant, e-mail is currency. Everything is done by e-mail. But people never mail back in time, expect you to mail < 15m, and you yourself have always done something wrong somehow.

So true.  Just had someone send me an email that I received at 9:49 requesting that I call whenever I get a chance for an amendment, but then he decided to just call the office at 9:51 anyways.  When the receptionist told him I was in an appointment he got upset and said that we should have someone available to answer his questions when he wants them answered.

We also have a saying in the tax industry; there is never a tax emergency.  People might call making it sound like there is or they may think that there is but with how fast the IRS and other State agencies move, nothing EVER needs to be done the same day.  The IRS generally gives you 30-90 days to respond to them and the States usually give the same, depending on what it is.  The only reason it might need to be done that day is because the IRS letter this person received 29 days ago gave them 30 days to respond and they decided to call about it with a day left.

Cracked windshield = potential $100+ fine in FL if a police officer notices it. Here you'd have to either pay the fine AND replace the windshield or just replace it within 30 days of the ticket.

idk about other states but it makes sense to get it replaced to save a few headaches

When I offer a few PCB's for sale, some kid begs me for them and then is supper annoying to haggle me down $5, i oblige and even lie for him on the customs forms then I see them on /r/mm literally 4 hours after the tracking has been delivered. :-X

I stopped selling on /r/mechmarket after seeing a few things I've shipped being sold/offered for trade less than a day after they've been deliveredt. I tend to sell at the original MSRP, so I guess for the things I have they're considered "deals"; then those deals are taken at an advantage and resold. :(

So don't offer deals?

That's one way, I guess. But I'd rather sell at the original price for which I paid. For some, that's considered a deal considering how inflated the second market can be.

Or you can help a friend sell it at ebay. Lots of friends seems to have valuable stuff but don't know how to sell it so you can just "help".

Tried some more practice soldering today on some unused electronic components I had lying around. What a mess.

I think I give up at learning to solder. I've read all of the tips, practiced, attempted projects (only to fail miserably), practiced some more-- and I don't think it's going to happen. :-(

Tried some more practice soldering today on some unused electronic components I had lying around. What a mess.

I think I give up at learning to solder. I've read all of the tips, practiced, attempted projects (only to fail miserably), practiced some more-- and I don't think it's going to happen. :-(

That sucks you had a bad time. I didn't even have anything to practice on when I attempted to solder my first pcb. It went fine, after watching a million videos about what to do, but it's certainly something I don't want to mess with again XD

bee you are a terrible person.

haha my cat cannot deal with closed doors in the house.  there may be unfathomable interesting and mysterious things behind a closed door.  plus she has to be around us all the time.
