why would you want that keyboard.... use it as a hammer or chopping board?

I like the style, plus the handle fits my computer case: I have an NZXT Vulcan, so it has a big handle on the top. This keyboard is the perfect companion.

I could never get into much rap because most of the music I've heard was just sampling (heavily) other songs. Many times it's just a straight rip from another song without changing anything, or using the main beat from it. At least, this is my general impression from what I've heard on the radio.
I had a co-worker who grew up on rap and kept getting shocked when I would have him listen to a lot of the original songs some of his favorite songs "borrowed."

I'm still trying to find artists I like, though. The rap I do enjoy is from a decade ago at the latest.

I've found that "popular"/mainstream rap and hip-hop are the last place you should go to get into the genres.  I am by no means any sort of authority on the subject, but speaking from experience as someone that used to detest the music and now appreciates certain artists/styles, it can be done if you find the right 'gateway song/album', so to speak. 

Also, if a song is sampled well, the experience can be enhanced by recognizing the original, as opposed to the all too common "wow, they butchered this great song to create whatever they've done here".

Again, not claiming to know **** about rap, just sayin'.
