( written on r/mk then realized that sub is more interested in other things so posting here )
Seen on r/mm, with a much higher frequency than I would expect, really nice high end boards that honestly, more often than not, have dings, chips, etc. So my question here that I think is worth discussing is, how does this happen? I have a bunch of low end boards like a ctrl hp and so forth, it would take considerable effort for me to be careless enough to ding my low-mid end board how come these people are dinging boards than are over a thousand dollars, or is it just a r/mm thing. It's so prevalent my conspiracy theory mentality kicks in and I start to suspect these are factory seconds that got dinged, and are getting passed off as new boards that got accidentally dropped or hit with a chisel. I am not picking on any listings on r/mm in particular but if you look for boards listed for over five hundred bucks, it's to me anyway, statistically not possible that such as high percentage of them have dings, unless the mk community is like, way more clumsy than the average person. what does everyone ( yes, you!) think?
