I think I've read about it being possible to go visit an execution in some prisons in the US before that, but you had to go through a security procedure.

What happens now is that it is broadcast live on TV, like in the movie Starship Troopers — which was satire!.

I am not personally opposed to capital punishment in principle, but the current administration always does its dirty work in the ugliest and most disgusting way possible.

This year's Nobel Peace Prize laureate — who got it partly for her involvement in the end of Apartheid and in the tribunal after the genocide in Rwanda, she is currently a judge in the ICC and ICJ ... and she is also active in a worldwide organisation for the abolishment of the death penalty.

Oh, Donald Trump didn't get that prize last year which he had wanted -- and which he did not, and have since done everything to not deserve.
That's why the US government has issued literal threats against the ICC, and making an execution public.
He and his minions are pathetic small-minded edgelords.
