How should I fix this problem

Alright I goofed up and didn't show full ATD (attention to detail) and the Filco I ordered for my wife from Amazon has the wrong switch.  I checked my order and it was a goof on my end not theirs.  I ordered one with black switches and she wanted reds.

Would you guys desolder and just swap out the springs or get in touch of amazon and try and get it swapped?  I have never returned anything to any e-retailer to date so I'm not sure on the proper protocols here. 

Which one do you guys think would be cheaper?

I would email the seller and ask what they would charge for it. Also how comforatble are you soldering? If you are used to it and you got some spare time, would I buy some springs on originative and maybe resell the black springs or keep them

if you were going to open the board up and perform mods (lube and everything else) anyway, the spring swap would be a feasible choice. Would take more than a good half of a day to finish up though. Just desoldering to only swap springs is honestly not worth the effort.

Blacks are only 30% heavier than reds..

lube totally not worth it...  and especially on the stock plate...  you're gonna have to do it all again... soonish, because that stuff rolls right off...

there's no cavity design such that the parts are re-dipped...  the lighter oils just mostly pools at the bottom after a while... barely getting any where you originally put it..

Well... then pay them the restocking fee..  which would still be significantly "cheaper" than doing the labor himself.

Or sell if here at minimal loss (it is practically new), buy one with reds.

Depends which option will cost more.

Replacing switches is a lot of effort and you will need to buy red switches and then sell black switches, not to mention what if something goes wrong.

Amazon will usually charge a fee to ship it back if you put the reason as "mis-ordered" or something like that, but still, much cheaper than buying a whole new board, or a bunch of switches/springs

If cost is a concern, as I mentioned earlier find out what it will cost to return it, find out what you can sell it for here (vs. the original cost), and work out which is less.

I would exchange.  Desoldering switches from a Filco is an annoying process--I've disordered 2 Filco TKLs to replace plates to universal ones.  There are copper through-hole inserts, and solder goes all the way through the PCB.  Desoldering my LZ-GH was a relative breeze by comparison.  Unless you love soldering, I'd just exchange. 

Filco boxes aren't sealed.  You should have no problem returning as new and exchanging for Reds.

Reds and blacks are completely night and day. There's like the soft loveliness of red and then the forceful resistance of blacks.

So as far as desoldering factory boards I was going to desolder my costar built das and lube, and or mess around with different springs/stems.  I have stock browns in it now.  Have had it for a few years now so the switches are well broke in.  How would you guys compare desoldering a Das vs desoldering a Filco?  I have desoldered a Phantom.  I did lift a couple pads but I think most of that was from attempting to flush cut bad soldered joints that had very long leads sticking out of the joint and ended up pulling the pad up with the cutters due to the cutters not being full flush cut.

IF you keep the board and desolder the switches, consider modding the plate so you can open the switches again later without desoldering. That will make the whole operation more worthwhile as instead of just making it into a board with reds it will be an "easy to mod" board with reds.

You could also buy red switches and replace them instead of swapping springs, use the black switches for something else. Less work.

Guys this is not my first board modification.  Have you all forgot about my HD LED mod I did to my Das?  I am going to desolder my Das to at least lube the switches.  Depending on how that endeavor goes I may or may not call up amazon.

Edit:  Desoldered all the switches in my Das as a touch of practice with my generic soldapult.  Good news in I got all the switches out with no casualties.  Only bad thing I can say is that solder is HELL on tips.  Full of crap and loads up my tip with black stuff.
