Scream "click" when typing. Alternatively, switch to buckling springs. Put the board in an all metal case.

Sound is "relative"..

You can make the keyboard sound louder,  by reducing the noise of your surroundings..

Because whatever you can do to the board itself, would only produce negligible increase in loudness..

.. reduce spring weight..
.. dampen bottom out noise..

Oh I remember these. One halloween a while ago this one kid brought some and being the dumbass this kid was, he threw them into grass.

Keep in mind he for some reason sprayed his ****ty $45 airsoft gun at a bunch of kids. Luckily the ****ty gun couldn't hit anything

Mic up your keyboard? Use metal caps? Use a plated-keyboard?

take the case off and ride it bareback

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Just a theory, but if you managed to put some tiny metal plates between the 2 parts of the stem that "clicks" together, you would probably get some more clickyness, but I don't know how you could manage that. Also, putting it in a thin metal case with thin metal keycaps could increase the effect of the sound, but still all theory. It could also bring back the PING!

get a stethoscope, place it on desk behind keyboard. replace ear pieces with microphones. connect microphones to pc. connect headphones to pc. maximum the volume.

put on head phones, enjoy the clicky sounds. and probably also the pinging of the springs though.

All of this. Or change the sliding part of the stem to another material, now I want to make some metal sliders just to see how much louder they could get. Probably affect the feel of the switch a small amount (small? :P).

Just fit little cymbal shapes to the corners of all your keys and the spots they land near, so each key becomes a miniature version of the battery pink bunny rabbit with cymbals that crash every time you press a key.

If you are using Windows, install ClicKey and increase the speaker volume to max.

Nitroglycerine oring mod...

Or what he said ^^ (Findecanor).

Or make a hole in the keyboard case at the front, like a guitar sound hole? Metal sliders and bottom case?

Or what he said ^^

How about this one: install fuel injectors and spark plugs in each key case...

Or what he said ^^
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

Modify the stems so they have a greater tactile bump.  Will cause the contact leaf to move further away from the contact point, and then when the slider drops after actuation the sound should (in theory) be louder.

Don't know if this is even probable or possible, but it's all I can come up with...

Amazing. I am going to start doing this when people are in my office.

I've always wanted to see this done. Instead of a "click" sound, sample... I dunno, Thor's hammer smashing something multiple times, and then randomly playing the sound with each keypress. Or assign a sound to each key, and set them up so that standard words ring out something that sounds pleasant. How difficult would that be -- an acoustically-enhanced keyboard?
