Resisting Instant-Noodles
« on: Thu, 16 October 2014, 15:29:46 »
Can this be done ?

This is the last thing in my diet that is highly-refined, I don't eat it often these days, but the allure of it  is there 24/7

Possibly addicted...

Ramen? Pretty easy to pass that junk up. It's starting to sound good as I post this though.

I wish resistance meant more than what I am able to afford. I ****ing hate Ramen so much, I get one step closer to insanity every meal. I would kill for pizza or something. Seriously, do you need anyone killed for food money?

Not sure, I would say smaller medium sized (bigger than personal pan size) but they are thin.

It's only takes a few minutes longer to prepare... That's just silly  :p

I can usually buy big ass bags of noodles from the grocery store near me, maybe at least mix up the kind of noodle.

Tostinoes are 1.99 here, and that's about 7 ramen. Those are the cheapest frozen 'pizza's I know of.

shin has good noodle quality,  but the seasoning gets boring because you always get the giant boxes.

I have this issue a lot. I usually go for one of the following

1. dry cereal
2. granola bar
3. Feed my addiction to fruit. There was a time when I was having 5+ apples a day.

3 is the most common, but I'm starting to cut back.

I found out at school where I had packed myself a spare in with my lunch and tried to sneak-eat it in language arts class. As soon as I started peeling it, the spray from the peel broke out on my arm/hand really badly. I was like: WTF is this I'm allergic to oranges? what will I do with my life! I managed to hold out until friday and was okay.

The story behind that is Grandma got me an entire box of clementines for christmas, which also explains why there were still some left after I quit eating them for 2 days.

Anyway: TP4: develop an addiction to healthy food. It's still tasty and way better! Fruit is good because it's supposed to be good for you and it's not filling so you can basically just eat in whenever.

This may not sound appealing though trust me it is, make your noodles in the water and what not, add the flavouring while they're in the water. Once they're 'cooked' drain the water. Now the fun part, add a can of tuna and canned corn. Maybe sprinkle some paprika if you're feeling up to it. Stick down at your desk, open up geekhack and enjoy.
