What do you do when you're bored out of your mind?

Not into watching tv/movies at the moment, not feeling video games either, it's dark and rainy outside, I already ate, and it's too early for bed.

What do? Feels like I'm going insane.  :confused:

How about read a book, go to a coffee shop, sit in front of a fire, clean, find a project to do, etc.

I get anxious because there are too many interesting things to do but not enough time. I never really 'get bored'... :(

****, I'm constantly bored. If I don't have to work I usually get everything I want to do done in the first 4 hours of waking up, then the rest of the day is me bouncing off the walls from lack of activities.

you should try some crazy cooking, a real meal (just the active time prepping / cooking) can consume 5+ hours easily! and it's constantly active.

If I'm feeling bored and restless, I always go for a run or go lift a bit.  Even some bodyweight exercises generally take the edge off or cure the boredom for me.

Wish I could just sleep for 18hrs a day without circadian repercussions. Or like a stasis chamber that I could climb inside of on non-work days. God I hate long weekends.

I wish I had your problem. I have so much I want to accomplish in this lifetime that I don't have the luxury to ever be bored. Novels and screenplays to write, music to compose, artworks to do, photography to shoot, and even not considering creative passions, just being a fan of movies, TV shows, books, music, video games, science/tech, etc means there are far more amazing works in art and entertainment than you could ever consume in a lifetime.

And all of that are just things you can do alone at home. Add to that outdoor amd social activities and traveling, how could anyone ever be bored? With so much to do and experience in this life, you're living it wrong if you are constantly bored. But it could just be a brain-chemical thing--some people just have brains that don't get stimulated as easily, and would require much more and escalating stimulus to feel satisfied or engaged.

I guess combine my complete lack of a social life with the constant rain and lack of a vehicle to get around makes for one miserable guy :(

But even the few hobbies I generally love like gaming and cooking I get tired of more and more easily as I grow older, and the things that used to bring entertainment and pleasure are now just momentary distractions for maybe an hour before I get uninterested. Maybe I'm just ****ed in the head, I dunno.

You might want to do a search about early signs of depression or related conditions like bi-polar--just to be sure that's not the cause.

This is my solution but what happens when we are bored with GH?

And noisy you've just got to find something you enjoy doing, widen your horizons, find out who you are as a person and what your life goals and dreams are, you can do it! (sorry been listening to a self help audiobook)

Also I have a problem where when I'm bored I want to eat all the time.  :-\

By that stage I usually find something else shiny to distract me.

I also have a long list of things to do, and could just pick something at random from that list.

Although I usually just end up thinking it would be too much trouble to do, and go back to GH.

I stare at spy and check every second to see if something changed. Usually I don't care about 90% of posts.
