« on: Wed, 13 May 2015, 21:53:52 »
So, I washing this watermelon in the sink yea?

It's a pretty big one.

Got pretty slippery,  and when I tried to fip it over, It slipped out of my hand, and i slapped my nose with my right hand..

Now I got a nose bleed, and no watermelon..

I'm so bummed out, I'm just gonna go to bed and deal with this tomorrow.

I have never in my life washed a watermelon.  That's like washing an orange before you eat it.

It rolled away?

Get back at it by chopping it up and eat it!

Blue watermelon, anyone?

You should have said yes, it was such a good decision for me; went from nosebleeds weekly to never again. The procedure itself sucked though.

tp, do you wash all of your packaging before you consume the product inside that is protected from the environment?

I had mine cauterized. Worked for about six months before they came back in full force.  :(  It's so annoying I may try it again... It would be fun to be able to blow my nose or not have to fear sneezing.

The watermelon has some dirt on it.. Being quite large in size,  when I go to cut it,  the dirt will invariably stick to my hands..

To avoid such contamination, the exterior of the melon is cleansed prior to consumption.

Because it was dirty, and while eating he rubs his hands all over his food.

Step 1: cut hole in watermelon

Step 2: take vodka out of freezer and pour the entire thing into the hole

Step 3: eat cold alcoholic fruit in the heat

I usually use a funnel,  so the hole doesn't have to be that big

It depends on the size of the watermelon but DONT pour it in one go
It has to be little by little,  usually took me over half an hour for half bottle

That way the vodka would suck through the flesh, else when you cut it it would go all over

Yes, make sure both the vodka and watermelon are cold and pour about a quarter of a bottle at a time to soak in. Like 1/4 bottle every 10 mins until all 750 mL are gone.

Dammit... now I want some vodkamelon :(

You'll find the answer once you finish half of the vodkamelon, if not finish all of it

/headscratch..

If that's the case, wouldn't it be easier to just cut large rectangular shapes and soak it in vodka in a container,  rather than waste vodka into the rinds?

You employed a gif that says 'learning'.

Did you LEARN about the vodka in rinds after eating the rinds? That would explain why you had to wash the watermelon, doesn't it? Unlike most people who just wipe the melon clean at the point of cutting because most people aren't going to eat the rinds?
