I am figuring out what resistors I need for me next build.
I have read a bunch of this thread:
https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=44798.0Here is what I have so far.
(5.05 - forward_voltage)/Amps = Ohms
The forward voltage of my LEDs are in the ballpark of 3, but I know this ranges all the way down to about 1.9 with some of the red and yellow LEDs.
I am trying to figure out how many milliAmps I am looking for. I know that most of the LEDs 'support' up to 20mAmps, but I have heard that is crazy bright. I think some people have been targeting closer to 6mAmps. Is that in the right ballpark?
I am trying get an idea of how many mAmps is good for brightness on a keyboard. Thanks...
