"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Realforce 87U Tenkeyless 55g (White/Gray) + Lettered Keycaps for Topre Realforce 87U/104U (Yellow).

Just for fun or would this replace your HHKB?

Use at work.

I tried using the HHKB, but I use the arrow keys far too much when coding.

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Thanks, I was curious about that.  That is the one thing I am concerned about.  I am thinking of putting a FC660_ at work and using a TKL and HHKB at home.

I may have to change my christmas present:  GH60 and GHpad or HHKB

I do want a programmable controller...  It may come down to how Topre feel when I try them.

As for what I'll be asking relatives for, all I have in mind so far is PSN gift cards, maybe new headphones or money towards a bigger purchase.

Dear GeekHack Santa,

All I want for Christmas is for Keycon West to happen. And for more meetups to pop up. Oh, and all the missing GeekHack keys I don't have. But mainly Keycon West.

Edit: Oh and for those who don't know. It's going to happen. There's just no date or thread yet so it not yet official. Hence, I am pleading to GeekHack Santa.

Dear Santa,

I would love to get another 60% board from Kailet and a 60% buckling spring keyboard.
60% keyboards, 100% of the time.
