The amount of hatred Topre gets often ... By people who have not even tried it! and assume it's just a rubber dome.

Where is this hatred you speak of?  Sometimes I see people complain about the price but I barely ever see people hating on Topre.

The majority of it isn't here it's certain other keyboard websites, here i think i have only see it mentioned in the unpopular keyboard opinions thread.

Are the reason I work from home.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Got to work almost two hours early.

Over slept in my car at work. Came in thirty minutes late. Oh what a wonderful Tuesday it'll be.

My company puts a limit to incorrect password attempts on mobile phones. That is all great and not a problem since I know my password. Except something has changed the password, and I can't get in, and my whole ****ing life is on this phone and I am going to FREAK OUT in a minute.

I literally can not deal with this. I can't remember feeling this level of anger in a long, long time.

I've picked up this stupid habit of getting to work like 2 hrs early and just sleeping in my car until it's time to go in. I don't know why. I live 15 mins away from work!

Sorry to hear that :( If it's a company phone, maybe they have a way to reset the password from their side. Or by company if you mean cellphone carrier, then you can probably take it into the store to get them to reset it or let you back in.

It's kinda hard to do cottage cheese well..

Just not a pleasant combination most of the time...

It works great in a sauce or a chip dip..

People do it wrong when they make it sweet or mix it with fruit.
Soy sauce and fresh ground pepper is the way to go.

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

my phone stopped receiving text messages 4 days ago and verizon can't tell me why  >:D

they've been diverted..

wifey must've installed one of them husband-tracking apps...

Haha, I wish. The reason I realized they were not working was she called and was mad because I was replying to her texts....

After some googling it seems like this is a common problem with my phone model with no real solution  :'(

I'm about ready to denounce technology, move to the woods and be a hermit. Never got my new SSD to boot up and now my phone isn't working properly.  :-\

which ssd is this .. which motherboard.

Why is it called a motherboard and not a fatherboard?
I was gonna go with because it's got 'female sockets'?

But maybe this? www.grammarphobia.com/blog/2007/01/the-mother-of-all-boards.html

It may be by socket..

But if you think ,  a bunch of geeks named this stuff.. They might've probably though MOTHER-SHIP...

And mother ship is obvious since the smaller ships come out of the mother ship.

Trust tp4 to come up with an explanation like this.

Still, it has more substance than the discussion in the post SpAmRaY linked.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

OCD, strive for perfection. It is tiresome. Do I want a black or white background color scheme in VIM? What's the perfect terminal font? Do I think that black contrasts to much on my white desk and need to change my desk? What about my USB cables.. black because my hardware is black or white because they fade into my wall and desk? VIM's black color scheme is what triggered me to try Sublime. I wrote a website in frames once upon a time, but that's the most that has come from my 'programming' so I opted for Sublime instead of VIM.

Do I think that black contrasts to much on my white desk and need to change my desk? What about my USB cables.. black because my hardware is black or white because they fade into my wall and desk? And So On.. Aaaargh
VIM's black color scheme is what triggered me to try Sublime. I wrote a website in frames once upon a time, but that's the most that has come from my 'programming' so I opted for Sublime instead of VIM.

I actually have both my custom white AND black color scheme. Why did you go the sublime-route?

OCD, strive for perfection. It is tiresome. Do I want a black or white background color scheme in VIM? What's the perfect terminal font? Do I think that black contrasts to much on my white desk and need to change my desk? What about my USB cables.. black because my hardware is black or white because they fade into my wall and desk? And So On.. Aaaargh

I downloaded VIM to refresh me as to why I choose Sublime. I like that Sublime uses tabs and pastes page formats exactly as they are copied. If I were to try some C++ compiling in the future I probably won't use Sublime. I could use notepad for what I do now, but the formatting frustrates me  :))

Hmmmm, perhaps I could become more familiar with the power that is Vim  :))

I can see the attraction to sublime. But once you get annoyed with your editor, you want to mod the sh*t out of it, which is exactly what you can do all the time with vim and emacs. Now people like to say that sublime can be modded to due to built-in python support blah blah. But that is only a fraction of what you can make vim and emacs do. My vim looks NOTHING like an out-of-the-box vim experience. Now you can see that vim is a crappy editor to begin with just *because* I modded it. But I'd rather say I can mold vim so that it follows my train of thought and therefore makes me more productive. That's why I use vim (or emacs, depending on your taste).

But for quick and dirty edits, I can see sublime being hand.y

To be honest, the name, and feel of Sublime makes me want to use some antibacterial hand soap after every use. Hate me for saying this but I was never a fan of the musician.

Vim is more than handy for quick and dirty edits since it fires up blazingly fast and is able to complete the task with less keystrokes than any other editor.

There are people at my work who don't wash their hands at all. Even when using the toilet...

Vim has become my mode of thought for text editing. I have made many typos in e-mails that were vim keystrokes. I really need e-mail within vim. Too bad vim isn't an operating system like emacs.

I'm actually starting to get curious about that. Are they not allowed to? At first I thought it's because they no longer can get them made, but they've been including them with almost every Realforce drop. I wonder what the deal is.

They're most likely not running it because they want to offload the Realforces. I've read that they can't sell the RF by itself in North America because Elite Keyboards has some sort of deal with that. Massdrop circumvents this by bundling the keyboard with the spacebars.

That's definitely an issue, which is why you'll see Realforces bundles with other random things, as well as the space bars. But I still don't see why they can't drop the bars by themselves despite that.

Verizon's telling me my Moto X which I got from motorola has to be factory reset in order to fix my text messages not being received (although I can send them) because the provisioning which was done when I activated the phone is no longer supported. I am not smart enough to understand this and it makes me really frustrated.  >:D

The funny thing bout that is i would never ever buy a RF from massdrop to save my life...but the PBT spacebar i would.  Oh well they lose my money i guess.
