There are idiots EVERYWHERE even here!(me) Stop isolating a type to a certain place. Just because you are socially inept, isolated, or close minded doesn't mean everyone conforms to one personality, standard, or morality. Whatever the hell you want to call it. Variety is the spice of life and you have to live with it, good or bad and you have the choice to ignore either. Also, what do you define as a community that works properly? Because it seems like the attitude here is "I don't like that person, so get rid of them"
The main issue here is people should stop taking themselves so seriously. It's absurd how people get overly defensive about something they took to heart.

There are terms of service on the forums. These are the standards that everyone should conform to on the forums. That's simple enough. I'm not saying that you should ban everyone for being horrible to people, in fact that's the opposite of what I was saying. I'm saying that having differing standards about who you mute and who you don't when it seems both people are as much in the wrong as each other
if you go by the forum TOS isn't great.
"Variety is the spice of life" is not a counter argument to "don't be a **** to people". Just because you don't give a **** about people on here, doesn't mean other people don't want people to fall out and the forum to be filled with ****posts.
