People who make deals then back out on them. When your dealing with forums like this where everyones as anonymous as they want to be. Your reputation is all you have. Word is bond. At least that's how I look at it. I understand things happen but I got offered more money or a better deal after addresses are already exglchanged and a shipping dates is agreed upon sucks. Sorry guys and gals just frustrated.

That crap ain't right. When you agree on a price, even if payment is pending, you tell everyone else it's pending. Not "pending unless you offer higher."

There was some bozo on here a few months ago attempting to argue that sellers and buyers have the right to keep changing terms and backing out of deals, even after they were agreed on.

He was even complaining about ebay holding him to a bid, and that an ebay bid should not be considered a binding offer!
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Last week I did the same thing again and I had the residue up my nose. Luckily, it would take a miracle for that stuff to reach the lady bits.

Your story reminds me of the time on Bob's Burgers where Gene tells a story about eating a taco on the toilet and he squirts chilli sauce on his junk. That's probably what happened to you :D

Apparently cycling is a good thing for bad knees, or so I was told when I injured my knee.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Actually close but but not quite, made a sandwich with nothing but cheese and potent chillies which I had chopped up by hand. Was a good sandwich but I got an itch kind off.  :'( Then did it again within the next few days, this was like 10 years ago that is how memorable the situation was.

It is amazing how long the "heat" from capsaicin can linger, even after multiple washings with soap and hot water.

Reduce your sodium intake to ~2g per day..

If you measure it out, you'd see just how small that is.. vs what you're probably used to eating

You'd be better rinsing your hands in milk.  The higher the fat content the better.  You could do the same thing with sour cream or yogurt.  Alcohol is far less effective.

Thankfully the wife only buys things in real life so I can keep up with it on the credit card and the kids aren't quite old enough yet.

Last week I did the same thing again and I had the residue up my nose. Luckily, it would take a miracle for that stuff to reach the lady bits.

No miracles needed.

Last week I did the same thing again and I had the residue up my nose. Luckily, it would take a miracle for that stuff to reach the lady bits.

Eat something hot. Get on hands, forget about. Go to bathroom, don't get big enough wad of toilet paper. Wipe. Make accidental contact. Alternately, change a tampon.

No miracles needed.
see with guys there's no real way to avoid contact, you just have to remember to wash the hell out of your hands :))

?? explain..  how is #2-wiping different between the genders..

wait... do you go in the middle?     I always thought it's done from the side... hrrm...

Yea I was under the impression that through handling spicy foods that the other end would be sufficiently on fire at that point

sooo, 55g topres are in stock in the UK. uuugh.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I already hate when I have to do helpdesk, but dear lord when they won't move away from their chair and I have to be in weird position to access the mouse or the keyboard, it makes me want to kill them all.

half of what i pay BT is line rental, even though i don't have a home phone.

Yup, I don't have a home phone either.
Your paying for your ISP to borrow the cables BT own, essentially. It means that BT own all the phone lines in the country and can have there own price nice and low while charging everyone else huge line-rental. It's why I originally went with BT...

Hooray for monopolies!

unless u live in say london... ****ing cockney bastards
They still have you by the balls in a lot of areas. Unless you go for a wireless service, which for someone who plays a lot of games I'd rather not. I've just signed up with Zen broadband, I'm paying more but I didn't fancy dealing with BT. Somehow Openreach/BT decided flicking a switch somewhere was going to cost me over £150 for installation, no engineer sent to my address just a fee.

No fibre in my area either, maybe when Sol Campbell is London mayor he'll hook me up.

I used to be with Zen and they were great, only the download limit they have (due to being only small) forced me to BT :/
