When gta does work it's like DayZ broken dumb fun, problem (like DayZ) is that most of the time it just dosnt work
Should come play arms 3 with me and join my crack military group :))

And by crack I mean we have like 4 confirmed kills between us

But seriously arms 3 is funny been playing King of the hill and its proper good

i have arma 2 and it was kinda fun tbh

my latest brocaps victory is late shipping (which is fine), but I just realised that now my gf isn't home and wont be until February, so if they arrive between now and then while I'm at work they'll be sent miles away to the out of town sorting centre (knowing my luck) and I'm fresh out of access to a car... fml...
Can you not ask bro to send them to your work place or do they not allow home parcels :X

I've only just started working here so I'm not sure, but I should prob chat to bro anyway... lol
I would give him a bell to see if he can help you out¬

that i have been conversing with you hooligans for 2 years now, where does the time go...

over that time i learned alot,

i know way more about keyboards than the average 27 year old. People still have no idea wtf im talking about in conversation

most importantly my steam library no longer has "0" friends on it.

also i still never post things in the right topic, if it aint in SPY it aint worth looking for

Spy or die. And we hate you too

Sweet. Anyone else want to go with us? We can have a GH compound. I have to warn you that I offer nothing of value to community/society.

I'm down. We're going to Tokyo right?

4 days : 3 cities, 5 flights, 3 hotels
Work not holiday

Am tired 😢

This might be fun. Let's switch jobs for a week or two :D.

Hey now, that counts as cold around these parts! You Mid-Westerners with your below freezing temps, PSH
Also, I'm pretty sure blood doesn't circulate to my hands or feet so everything I touch turns to ice. I may need to get that looked at.

I'm with Hoff on this one. It was 60 here yesterday and I was wearing a t-shirt. It was so nice! Today it is 30 and raining...so at least take comfort that you are not alone in the coldness. Even if yours is fake cold.

Sure, it'll be a little chilly, but I think that pup in your gif was being a bit dramatic.  ;)

Poor circulation, OTOH, is legit - I suffer from that as well.  :|

Hahahahaha cold. You merely adopted the cold.

Mark my words there will be snow on the ground here come May, and January/February will see some days where it is -22F outside.

Sorry to hear that. Those people are definitely not some you can call "friends". Like honestly, who sees that happening and thinks to themselves, "yeah, her boyfriend will be 'okay' with that"?

The passive sort of friends, I suppose.

I have some actual friends still, and she committed social suicide, so thats making me feel better.   At this point (it's been a month or so) I'm more pissed about the friends.

Finally re-appearing on geekhack after catching the flu. Turns out my previous back problems were just the beginning symptoms and not that I had poor posture or was sitting for too long...

Still not feeling 100%, stuck with a sore throat and stuffy nose but feeling much better than before.

I cannot convince myself to spend some extra money specifically marked for me to spend on stuff i want. Had a bunch of stuff all ready check out, but I backed at the last minute.

When i have a little extra money to spend I think i subconsciously worry that im spending it 'wrong' and it makes me panic, or i have a few things i know i would like and just cant make a decision.

lol

My benchmark for bad winters was the one a few years back with a week straight of -40 (before windchill) when I had to walk 2 miles to class.  ****. That. So. Hard.

But really, beyond a certain point it all starts to feel the same.  That's when you know it's bad.  :|

Let's correct that

I have some actual friends still, and she committed social suicide at our school, so thats making me feel better.   At this point (it's been a month or so) I'm more pissed about the friends.

We go to a small school (~500 People),  most of which knew that we were in a longer term relationship, and are not happy with how she treated anyone during the cheating/dumping.

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

To be honest, if someone said that to me out of the blue, I would give them a blank stare.  It would take the appropriate context for me to realize what they're referring to, despite knowing the reference 100%.  FWIW  :)

You've met me. Compare :P

I said my ratio though!  ;)  You just haven't seen many culturally relevant movies for the country you live in.  :(

That makes sense. I'm like keshley, it's something my dad and I used to do. I'm racking my brain for relevant movie quotes about 100% of the time.

The sad part is that I'm always thinking about movies and shows, I just can't make the referential connection in the moment.  :(

Guy has a Pink Floyd poster on his wall, I say "By the way, which one's Pink?" and he just looks at me like I'm a dumbass.

Tell him to have a cigar.

The lack of GH time I've had the last week or so has been no fun. I just need to make it through this week then I can go back to being unproductive at work again.  :thumb:

And final papers! I've got a 10-page paper and two 20-page papers assigned. Fortunately all three are group papers, but still... How do we study for exams and write all this garbage!?

I'm there with you. Yesterday I had a 1600 word essay due and tomorrow for the same class a 5000 word research paper. Needless to say the poker 2 is being put into good use. Every 5 minutes I look at my slo-fis and pray to the slothy gods.

Make your time worth writing something of value instead of garbage.

I've got 2 4 pagers and a 6 pager

Not too bad, but I've only got 6 days to do them all.

I'm ready for 3 4 AM days in a row.

When we look for Meaning,  the ones which a human mind could comprehend are indeed quite terse.

I've never read anything more than 10,000 that didn't at Some-point slope into mere verbosity.

What's bothering me? Mild RSI around my right thumb. I just want it to go away, but how am I supposed to heal up if I can't stay away from a keyboard? I'm using my left thumb for the space bar as opposed to the right, but I sometimes slip. Damn muscle memory. It's not all that terrible, but I just don't want it to get worse. :( I hear RSI takes its merry time to heal.

I developed it from lazily typing in bed with my Infinity keyboard resting on my laptop while using terrible form. It suddenly cropped up. I also somewhat blame the Infinity, because bottoming out on that thing feels SO harsh.
