Attack on Titan. I couldn't watch more than three episodes. Why are the giants and titans humongous naked Ken dolls? Why did it take the titans 100 years to reach the city? Much feels, but too many questions that needed to be answered :'(

Good thing you quit early.  The entire series is set on spawning 15 new questions for every answer.

Haha, I'm glad I stopped watching the series when I did.

Contacts work like this..

If you're transitioning from glasses,  you're not blinking nearly as much as -Normal people' or 'the long time contact wearers'

glasses keep your eyes m0ar wet, thereby reducing the need to blink.

So, without the blinking and suddenly no moisture shield from your glasses,  what happens is, your contacts will dry, thereby changing its shape slightly , and blurring your vision..

The dryness may also cause it to shift out of alignment on your eye.

If you continue to wear them, your eyes should naturally blink more and produce more tears.

Yea, I've noticed that, but the problem I get is that even if I blink more often, I will randomly get blurred vision and it won't be corrected until 15 or so seconds later, and that's when it starts to gradually improve.

I know i have to give them a shot and they will be uncomfortable and whatnot since I'm new to them, but something like this seems strange.

Wyfe tried popping it last night. The skin is like too thick and the puss is too deep or something. It just made it twice as big and as painful and will prob slow healing time. I should have just let it be.

I've been binge eating since I stopped smoking. 24 lbs + pimples. Now I'm going to die of heart attack from food instead of cigs.

Yup.. sounds bout right..  prolly not before a stroke gets you though, your vessels are weakened by the tobacco use.. now the increased pressure is more likely to lead to stroke..

But IMHO, you live in America, and relative to the rest of the world, even early death isn't terribly regrettable, because You've probably tried everything fun and good by age 40 ..

It is better than smoking!

I have been dieting and I've actually lost a very decent amount of weight. Enough that I had to go out and buy all new clothes. I'm all proud of myself but not a single person in my life has noticed, and I refuse to say anything.

Don't you mean Targét ?

Name brand clothing is usually even tighter, so I guess that is somewhat of a motivator ?

I responded to probably 4-5 comments here and never submitted them. Responses, compliments, anecdotes, I just type it up, re-read the context and response and then just delete it all. I hate when I do this.

A big annoyance with it is I'll delete a response under the idea that it's "stupid" and then someone else will post almost word for word what I was going to, and it's like a hit comment or something that generates more great discussion.

Ah man why java... They should teach you good old plain C++ (or is that further down in the curriculum)? Not that C++ is any good, but it'll give you some street cred.

Do you know c2? I like that programming wiki..

They won't cover your uniform bills? I thought companies were supposed to pay for that stuff. At least you can take them out of your taxes if they are indeed needed for the job.

It's not tax deductible and not covered by work.  Professional attire is considered part of your normal expenses.  Just because I don't wear a suit and tie and nice shoes outside of the office doesn't mean I can't, so I don't get a tax break on it.

F**ked up system, same here in the Netherlands. What am I going to do with a suit besides my work?

I have literally never worked for a company that paid for my uniform. Nor have I heard of a tax exemption for work attire.. Oh huh, I guess some items can be considered tax deductible turbo tax says so

It can only be for clothing that is considered work specific and cannot be worn outside of the workplace.  Police uniforms, scrubs, anything that you buy for the workplace that requires a specific work attire that's not appropriate for daily wear can be deducted.

Unfortunately, mine is courtroom attire and I'll be sitting next to someone making two to three times more than me.

Having to drop $600 or so on clothes for work for something that may or may not be permanent and that may or may not result in a promotion.

They won't cover your uniform bills? I thought companies were supposed to pay for that stuff. At least you can take them out of your taxes if they are indeed needed for the job.
I have literally never worked for a company that paid for my uniform. Nor have I heard of a tax exemption for work attire.. Oh huh, I guess some items can be considered tax deductible turbo tax says so

The IRS has accepted deductions for theatrical costumes, hard hats and other safety gear.
  ^-^

It can only be for clothing that is considered work specific and cannot be worn outside of the workplace.  Police uniforms, scrubs, anything that you buy for the workplace that requires a specific work attire that's not appropriate for daily wear can be deducted.

Unfortunately, mine is courtroom attire and I'll be sitting next to someone making two to three times more than me.
Well damn, I hope it turns into a permanent position

I hope it comes with the promotion and pay raise moreso than the permanency.  Both would be nice though.

At least the winter wasn't as cold overall as it was last year. We had snow this late then too.

I don't recall snow this late, but it's probably because it was so cold. Last year was pretty insane temperature wise. I just really want a few days where it's not just disgusting out. I walk to work every day and it would be wonderful if it wasn't snowing/raining/sleeting/hailing/gross and windy (it's always windy).

Dunno if it actually snowed, but there was definitely snow on the ground until mid-April -- although perhaps not in downtown Toronto. Apparently it's supposed to be nice by the end of the week though, so we have that to look forward to!

People who complain about the current market price of something, then cite a sale from almost 4 years ago as a reference as if market prices are static.

The whole /r/mechmarket "price citation" rule is dumb and it completely ****s up prices in general. If you're selling something rare on mechmarket you will always get some ****wit try to correct you with a citation from a years old sale because it was the only other time that an identical item was sold publicly. They don't realise that :

a) Prices change over time. Hooduh thunkit???
b) Not all sales are public, especially in regards to absurdly rare items

---

P.S. I think your pricing is relatively sane due to the constant, unchanging insanity of the market section that the item falls under.
