****.  Is it hot?

They have air conditioning inside.  Now it's been 4 hours and their card reader isn't working when I tried to pay.

Finally get them to manually take the card and then my car still isn't ready for me.  I showed up around 8AM to try and avoid this mess.  That shows me for thinking.

Edit: and finally getting it.  Total time spent, 4.5 hours and something they did in my car smells like cat piss.

Kitchen is where there is only one computer..

To Tp4, that is the outside..

Inside means 3+ computers within arms reach..

But those little furry ears, that big nose ...

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I heard somewhere the since Eucalyptus leaves have flammable oil on it, and koalas spend all their time in Eucalyptus trees with their heads in the sun, so they can spontaneously combust

Not sure how true that is, but if it is, poor poor koalas :(

I really wonder how much of a right I to have to complain about my life, is it really that bad? surely there are people in worse situations..

But ****, a combination of an unstable household and me doing nothing about it and just giving up is not helping anything.

I need to do something, because I have to do better than this in life that what i"m doing and be proactive in fixing the problems, rather than wallowing in self pity like I have for as long as I can remember.

You have as much right as anyone to complain about your life, but you are the only one who can take steps to change it.

Acknowledging that you have a problem is often the first and biggest step, then working out what to do about it and taking a series of small steps towards a solution.

Break it down into manageable chunks if the whole thing seems to much to handle at once, then you'll have a series of small definite steps forward.

The way I've always looked at the "I shouldn't complain because many have it worse than me" idea is that you can counter it with "I shouldn't be happy with my life because many people have better lives than me."

Just because others are having bigger problems in their lives doesn't mean that you can't be upset with certain things in your life. As long as you're not Veruca Salt, you won't sound like some prick :))

New construction sites.

My type of work is finish work, so I truly truly don't understand why I get a job scheduled on a site that isn't nowhere near to being done. What is the point? Nobody is going to come see it and decide "this is it! Finish the building now!" They are always a pain in the ass to find parking for, even if you come in two hours before anybody else. I absolutely hate wearing a hard hat. Elevators never work so it's climbing stairs all ****ing day. I just don't get it. I could come six hours before this place opens and still be done and it won't look like anything happened anyway.

And today I have to deal with 16 hrs of this ****. And tomorrow. And Friday.

****.
I work in HVAC controls.  We are usually last in on jobs.  Right when everyone wants the job finished.  Trades tripping over each other.  It's always OUR fault until we prove otherwise...

Chasing grades sucks but being managed by muppets who got better ones because they weren't intelligent enough to think beyond what they were told to do for the rest of your life sucks more.

The fact that I seem to have hay fever in autumn.

I'm losing track of exactly which areas kount and which don't, but there's this:

****.  I may have just accidentally killed my phone by somehow launching it five feet into the toilet bowl.  I didn't see any bubbles come up and the phone itself didn't appear wet or to be leaking anything when I pulled it out almost immediately.  Fingers crossed that it lives.
